It's a Kittyhawk! I saw this at the Udvar-Hazy Center last week. If you've never been, do go to this museum. The sheer size will blow your mind. There's a Concorde there as well as the Enterprise. When you first see the Enterprise, you don't believe it is real, even after walking amongst all the planes and other flying machines. I have a front on picture of the Enterprise, but I don't think it conveys how large the vehicle is. I think this side image does the job though:

It's been one of those days where I just can't work. I have time to work on SGVY, but my hands don't seem to want to do it. Argh... I should just power-through this. I hate when my hands act stupid. This is not helped by the fact that my brain is going a million miles per hour with ideas. All right, no more bitching, I'm going to work. Cheer me on.

Sometimes powering-through is the best thing to do, even if it's frustrating.
The iPhone Is Dead, Long Live the iPhone. My iPhone's antenna gave out over the weekend. After many hours of diagnostics, she was found incapacitated, unable to get a signal. I went to the Apple Store this afternoon, and the genius declared her dead. She was put into a white box and carried away. As she was taken to the back, I remembered all the good times we had together: surfing the web, watching Youtube, searching for Hashima Island... She didn't even make it a year. Goodbye, my sweet Bell...

But that's old news. From the white box that Bell was put in came a new iPhone: Winesap. I've already found Hashima Island in the Maps, put Digg on my home screen, and set my background to the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History's Ediacaran exhibit. Ah, it's good to have a working iPhone again. Did I have a broken one? I can't remember now...

I was very impressed with the service I received from Apple. They didn't give me any trouble after it was determined that the iPhone couldn't receive a signal anymore. They just replaced it. Real tech support is awesome.

So have I learned my lesson about buying first-gen Apple products? Nah, I'll probably do it again and cry when it breaks. At least there will be good service when it happens.

Oh, I'll play some Brawl tomorrow. See you out there!

A fine apple for making cider.
I made this in two hours this morning. My friend, who is watching the new John Adams miniseries right now, said that he could see my style under the "Sonic style." I agree. I'm quite happy with it even though I should have gone to bed. Gah...

HEY! You should send me your Wii Friend Code and Brawl Friend Code! Email them to me at kittyhawk@sgvy.com, or if you're seeking more and you're adventurous, go post them in the Montrose Academy Forum. Let's do it!

Like the SGVY post said, goin' to sleep!

"Sonic's the name, speed's my game!"

Hello from Washington, D.C.! That's right, I've been in my nation's capitol with my friends and husband for the last few days. It's been fun. I got to see a lot that I didn't get to see last time I came. Oh, and I got my picture taken with Lincoln again. He's still awesome.

I went to the portrait gallery as well, and of course, I had to go see the Colbert painting near the bathrooms. There was also a self-portrait of Morse that was really interesting. There was also this really awesome painting of Nixon by Rockwell as well as this awesome portrait of Ice T in the RECOGNIZE! exhibit.

I did get to go the White House, which I had never been able to see before. I was very fortunate. We went to the Capitol right before, which is always fun to visit. I was unable to take pictures of the Capitol or the White House because cameras are forbidden in the White House. Oh well. A strange thing happened while we were at the White House: We were sealed into the Blue Room for 15 minutes during the tour because the President was giving an interview two rooms over and they did not want us to interrupt him. It was kind of weird. I know that room very well now. ^_^;;

Here's a couple more pictures that I thought were interesting. I took more, but I liked these the most:

This is from the Air and Space Museum. Why can't we have stewardesses in uniforms like this anymore?! If it's all about equality, then make the men wear hot pants and gogo boots. Bring back the sexy skies!

The Ediacaran, bitches!! I love the Natural History Museum. While I was there, I was watching the video that was obviously done in the 1960s on the evolution of early life, and I overheard this kid say to his mom, "I though God made everything. What is this about then?" She hemmed and hawed as she wondered how she should answer the question. Ha ha ha! This wasn't the only confused kid I saw. I wonder why these parents brought their kids if they didn't want to talk about evolution. I guess they expected to only see dinosaur bones.

I'm heading home tomorrow. I didn't get any work done, but oh well. I'll work hard on SGVY when I get there. Please be understanding!

There is so much, but I am satisfied.
